VEB.RF is Russia’s national economic development institution. In partnership with commercial banks, VEB.RF contributes to the implementation of large-scale projects, notably in high tech, non-resource exports, infrastructure upgrade, and urban agglomerations. The Group’s assets total 3 255,2 bln roubles, equity 719,2 bln roubles, commitments 2 536,2 bln roubles (as on 31 March, 2021).
By government decree, VEB.RF coordinates the activities of other development institutions, notably the Agency for Technological Development, SME Corporation, Rusnano, the Russian Export Centre, Roseximbank, EXIAR, Skolkovo Foundation, Industry Development Fund, and the Fund for Infrastructure and Educational Programmes.

The Educational Foundation “Talent and Success” was established in 2014 by the President of
the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, who headed its Board of Trustees. In 2015, the Foundation opened the Sirius Educational Center, whose purpose is to identify, develop and provide professional support for gifted children.
Since 2019, the University of Science and Technology has been operating in the Sirius ecosystem.
An important part of the University is the Center for Urbanism and Environmental Design.

and urban planning, holds conferences, biennials, and architectural competitions.
